Temperatures ease slightly
According to the Mirror, the Met Office noted temperatures have begun to ease this month. Southern regions are expected to reach highs of around 28C on most days this week, while northern areas will see temperatures between 25 and 26C.
The forecaster anticipates 'cloudy and cool' conditions across the far north with possible showers, adding: 'Dry and sunny elsewhere with some very warm sunshine.'
BBC weather outlook
The BBC indicates northern regions can expect cloudy conditions, while the south will see 'sunny spells'. The east is likely to experience 'the odd shower'.
BBC forecasters predict another overcast start across northern areas on Thursday, with 'sunny spells and patchy cloud' further south. They add: 'Friday looks to be dry with sunny spells for most, though northern Scotland will see spells of rain developing. These will push southwards on Saturday, with a few showers developing in the north behind it.'
Weather maps suggest another heatwave may be on the horizon, with potential highs of 37C during August, particularly across southern England and the Midlands.
