Meghan Markle's Jumper Sales Boost Charity Beyond Expectations
Meghan Markle's Jumper Sales Boost Charity Beyond Expectations

The Duchess of Sussex's latest charity collaboration has driven sales that "far surpassed" what the organisation anticipated, according to Moms Offering More (MOM). The community-led non-profit, which supports vulnerable mothers and their children across North America, partnered with Meghan Markle on a £75 jumper released last Sunday.

Jumper Sales Surge

The first batch of the jumper sold out within three hours, prompting a quick restock. The second batch has nearly sold out again, with only the small size still available. While MOM does not publish sales data, the organisation expressed delight at the response.

Proceeds from the jumper are split evenly between MOM and Alliance of Moms, a non-profit founded by one of Meghan's close friends. The sales honour the International Day of the Girl.

Design and Promotion

The jumper is made from 50% combed ring-spun cotton and 50% polyester. Promotional images show Meghan barefaced, looking calmly at the camera with her arms resting on her chest, one hand covering part of her mouth. Another photo shows her turning her back to display the jumper's logo: "It's the little things."

MOM confirmed it will not sell more jumpers after the latest batch sells out. The organisation thanked Meghan's supporters for their purchases and for spreading its message.

Charity's Response

MOM told the Daily Express: "We are thrilled with the response to the Meghan x MOM collaboration in support of The Alliance for Children's Rights and MOM." The team added: "We would like to thank all of Meghan's supporters for generously lifting up our organisation through their purchases, kind words, and by spreading the MOM message – it's the little things that make the biggest difference."

Announcing the collaboration, Meghan said in a post: "Small acts of care can make a big difference for parents, for caregivers, for moms. This International Day of the Girl, I'm proud of the way we are showing up, including with our Archewell Philanthropies collaboration with @momsofferingmore supporting families alongside @allianceofmoms and @allianceforchildrensrights."
