Wilmslow Street Fest Returns with Free Carnival, Circus & Cabaret

Wilmslow's beloved Street Fest is set to return in July and September 2026, offering two free themed evenings in Bank Square. The events will feature a Caribbean carnival, a circus and cabaret spectacular, and international street food, transforming the upmarket Cheshire town into a vibrant celebration.

Event Dates and Themes

The first event takes place on Friday, 24 July, from 5pm to 9pm, transporting visitors to the Caribbean with steel drum bands, vibrant rhythms, and colorful festival décor. The second event on Friday, 4 September, also from 5pm to 9pm, will feature a circus and cabaret spectacular with cabaret-style music, brass bands, and circus-inspired performances.

Free Admission and Community Focus

Lisa Russett, Wilmslow BID Manager, said: "We're looking forward to welcoming everyone back for our remaining themed evenings. Whether you're soaking up the vibrant sounds of the Caribbean Carnival or enjoying the spectacle of our Circus & Cabaret event, there's something for all ages to enjoy." She added that the event is free to attend and aims to bring the community together.

Global Street Food and Local Collaboration

Alongside entertainment, a curated selection of street food vendors will serve global cuisines, from sizzling Asian street food to fresh Mediterranean favourites. The event is organised by Wilmslow’s Way Better in collaboration with The Market Co., aiming to drive footfall into the town centre. Entry is free and no booking is required.
