Derrick Evans MBE, better known as Mr Motivator, has been announced as the latest special guest for the Southport Flower Show 2026. The fitness personality will appear on Sunday, August 23, as part of the event's new health and wellbeing feature, The Lakeside Reset.
Event Details and Lineup
The Southport Flower Show takes place from Thursday, August 20 to Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Victoria Park. Attendees can enjoy floral displays, show gardens, a shopping village, cookery demonstrations, live music, and entertainment. Early bird single-day tickets are available for £28 plus fees, with a four-day patron pass at £90. Children under 16 go free with a paying adult.
Previous special guests announced include BBC Gardener's World presenter Adam Frost, Arit Anderson, Phil Vickery, Anton Du Beke, Andy Day, Justin Fletcher, and Su Pollard. Adam Frost, an award-winning garden designer, has won seven gold medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show since 2007 and authored several gardening books.
Mr Motivator's Role
Derrick Evans MBE shot to fame on GMTV in the 1990s with his infectious energy, colourful outfits, and empowering approach to fitness. With a career spanning over three decades, he has taken his message to TV screens, live events, schools, communities, festivals, and national wellbeing campaigns. He is also the founder of Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank, a charity tackling bed poverty.

In addition to standard tickets, VIP experiences, welcome buffets, and Sunday lunch options are available. Tickets can be purchased online. The show runs from August 20 to 23, 2026, at Victoria Park, Southport.
