The Mouth of the Tyne Festival 2026 has announced full stage times for its four-day run at Tynemouth Priory, starting Thursday, July 9. Headliners include The Ks, Ministry of Sound Classical, Self Esteem, and James, with gates opening each evening for live music.
Thursday July 9: The Ks Headline
The festival kicks off on Thursday with indie band The Ks topping the bill. Support acts include Leazes at 6:30pm and Tom A Smith at 7:15pm, followed by The Ks at 8:15pm.
Friday July 10: Ministry of Sound Classical Returns
Friday night features Ministry of Sound Classical, who performed to acclaim in 2025. The lineup includes Utah Saints at 6pm, Ellie Sax at 7pm, and Ministry of Sound Classical at 8:30pm.
Saturday July 11: Self Esteem
Saturday sees Self Esteem take the stage at 8pm, preceded by Heidi Curtis at 7pm.
Sunday July 12: James Close the Festival
The festival concludes on Sunday with indie icons James performing at 8pm, following The Lilacs at 7pm.
Previous Mouth of the Tyne editions have featured headliners such as Elbow, Rick Astley, Jack Savoretti, The Proclaimers, Keane, and Gabrielle. The festival has also been a launching pad for local talent; Sam Fender played to a packed crowd at the Priory seven years ago, before releasing his debut album.
