Molly-Mae Hague's First Christmas Away From Family Amid Health Woes
Molly-Mae Hague's Christmas plans and family health update

Reality TV star and influencer Molly-Mae Hague has shared a significant personal update with her followers, revealing that this year will mark her first Christmas ever spent away from her immediate family. The 26-year-old former Love Island contestant made the announcement during an Instagram Q&A session on Sunday.

Christmas Plans Take a New Direction

When asked by a fan about her plans for Christmas Day, Molly-Mae responded with a photo of her lavish festive tree. She explained that she, along with her two-year-old daughter Bambi, will be celebrating at the new home of her partner Tommy Fury's family. This breaks a long-standing tradition of spending the day with her own parents.

"Will be the first time ever not spending Christmas with my family, which makes me sad," she wrote. The influencer cited several reasons for the change, including her parents Zoe and Danny moving into a new house and her grandmother, who is in her 90s, being too frail to travel to Manchester. Despite the sadness, Molly-Mae expressed excitement about cooking the Christmas lunch.

Family Battling Winter Illnesses

The festive season announcement comes after a worrying week for the family's health. Molly-Mae provided a detailed update, confirming that her toddler daughter Bambi had been diagnosed with croup, a common childhood viral infection known for causing a barking cough and breathing difficulties.

She described it as the first time Bambi had been so unwell, necessitating a full week being bed-bound. The illness first affected boxer Tommy Fury, who suffered a severe nine-day bout of sickness, prompting a late-night dash to the hospital. Molly-Mae has now also fallen ill, stating her body "literally hurts to touch."

A Traumatic Hospital Visit

In her latest YouTube vlog, Molly-Mae elaborated on the frightening experience, revealing that Bambi's high temperature caused her to shake and cry in her sleep, leading to the urgent hospital visit. She described the family as "hanging on by a thread" during the ordeal.

While looking forward to the holidays, Molly-Mae also humorously noted that even when unwell, Bambi has been keeping her on her toes and "acting like a teenager." The family is now focusing on recovery in time for their non-traditional Christmas celebrations with the Fury family.
