Fans of Taylor Sheridan's neo-western epic Yellowstone are in for a treat as his espionage thriller Lioness prepares to make its comeback. The series, also known as Special Ops: Lioness, will return for Season 3 on Paramount+ on August 2, following the release of a thrilling teaser trailer.
What Is Lioness About?
Lioness follows the operations of a CIA unit that recruits female operatives for clandestine missions as part of the War on Terror. The show stars Hollywood actress Zoe Saldaña as Joe McNamara, a senior CIA case officer overseeing the Lioness programme.
The ensemble cast includes Laysla De Oliveira as Cruz Manuelos, Dave Annable as Dr Neal McNamara, Jill Wagner as Bobby, and LaMonica Garrett as Tucker. The series also features prominent names in supporting roles, including Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Kelly.
