Liam Gallagher has strongly hinted that the upcoming Oasis tour is far from the band's final chapter, calling it the 'opposite of a farewell tour' and promising more activity to come. The band is expected to announce a massive run of shows for summer 2027, including 12 nights at Manchester's Etihad Stadium and six concerts at Knebworth, with over 750,000 fans anticipated to attend.
Security Reasons for Delayed Announcement
Although nothing has been formally announced, Liam has been teasing fans on social media. He told followers: 'Look there's definitely something going on I can't tell you exactly for security reasons hope you'll understand.' He added on X: 'We will announce when the time is righteous.'
More Than a Farewell Tour
The dates, which are expected to include European stops in Paris and Rome, will not be the band's final hurrah. Liam wrote: 'It's the opposite of a farewell tour it's more like who f****** wants kinda of a tour' before correcting himself: 'WHO F****** WANTS IT KIND OFF A TOUR.'
New Material Rumored
There are also whispers of Oasis preparing new material to accompany the dates, with five songs rumored to have been recorded in London recently. As a result, fans hope the band will play even longer live sets next summer. However, when one fan suggested a three-hour concert, Liam replied: 'Don't be ridiculous we're not narcissists.'
