Knowsley Safari Park's Camp Knowsley Returns with Sleepovers

Knowsley Safari Park has confirmed the return of Camp Knowsley for summer 2026, running daily from Monday, July 20 to Monday, August 31. The expanded programme offers bushcraft activities including paracord survival bracelet making, stone age tool pendant making, fire-lighting, first aid, and even bug eating.

Woodland Adventures and Campfire Fun

Woodland activities will also feature prominently, such as nature trails, den building, pancake making, and marshmallow toasting on a real campfire. Visitors can learn how to purify water and immerse themselves in outdoor skills.

Helena Berry, Head of Marketing and Sales at Knowsley Safari, said: "We're thrilled to be expanding Camp Knowsley this year, offering families great value days out and even more opportunities to get hands-on, explore, learn new skills and immerse themselves in the great outdoors – as well as more chances to experience the Safari under the Stars with our extra special Safari Sleepover."

Safari Sleepover Experience

The Safari Sleepover returns as a unique escape, combining all Camp Knowsley bushcraft activities with an overnight stay surrounded by over 500 Safari animals, including Southern white rhino, Amur tigers, giraffes, zebra, and Andean bears. The experience includes songs around the campfire, a VIP Safari Tour, cooking breakfast on the campfire, and exclusive use of an explorer-style bell tent equipped with beds and cosy blankets.

Safari Sleepovers will take place on three Saturdays in August: 8, 15, and 22. Eight safari tents are available per night, each accommodating up to four people.

Great British Summer Pass and Pricing

The park also launched its Great British Summer Pass on July 6, available until August 31. Priced at £45.50 for an adult and £41.13 for a child, the pass provides unlimited visits throughout August and endless access to the Bushtucker Challenge Activities through the next two months.

Camp Knowsley day tickets range from £22.38 to £25.38 for adults and £20.19 to £23.19 for children. Additionally, Safari Sleepovers will run throughout May 2026 for thrill-seekers. More information and bookings can be found on the Knowsley Safari Experience website.
