Kim Kardashian's Bar Exam Failure & Death Threat Revealed in Kardashians
Kim Kardashian Failed Bar Exam After Death Threat Scare

Reality television star Kim Kardashian has opened up about her devastating failure to pass the California bar exam in the latest episode of The Kardashians, while simultaneously revealing she faced a chilling death threat during her intensive study period.

The Gruelling Bar Exam Journey

The SKIMS founder, 45, shared the immense stress of preparing for what's considered one of America's most difficult legal examinations. In scenes filmed three months before she learned she hadn't passed, Kardashian disclosed she was studying nine hours daily and described feeling completely exhausted and overwhelmed by the process.

"I really do need to pass on the first try," she admitted during the episode titled 'A Tragedy in Reality'. When questioned why this was so crucial, the mother-of-four responded: "I don't have another few months I can give up."

Despite her initial reluctance to continue if unsuccessful, Kardashian has since changed her stance. Following her exam failure, she took to Instagram to declare there would be "no giving up" in her pursuit of legal qualification.

Chilling Death Threat Revelation

In one of the episode's most shocking moments, Kardashian revealed she received terrifying news that someone "extremely close" to her had allegedly put a hit out on her life. The information came from an attorney who had been contacted by prison inmates.

Kardashian described the person as "someone extremely close to me that used to be in my life," though she refrained from naming the individual. The threat prompted immediate security measures, including switching all her vehicles and extensive meetings with attorneys and investigators.

"It was definitely scary," she confessed. "It's definitely scary to know or to feel that energy out there." Ultimately, investigators determined the threat wasn't genuine, suggesting the person simply wanted money and planned to "stop it for you" to make Kardashian feel indebted to them.

Professional Setback and Family Legacy

Kardashian's pursuit of legal qualification follows in the footsteps of her late father, Robert Kardashian, who gained fame as part of O.J. Simpson's defence team. Rather than attending traditional law school, she participated in California's four-year Law Office Study Program, graduating in May after a six-year journey.

Legal experts have emphasised that failing the California bar exam is far from unusual. Three veteran attorneys told Daily Mail that the test has one of the nation's lowest pass rates, describing it as "a test of endurance, not intelligence."

Attorney Golnoush Goharzad, with 17 years of experience in California, noted that pass rates for repeat takers can be as low as 24 percent, attributing this to "test fatigue" and the enormous volume of material covered.

Following her July exam, Kardashian confirmed she hadn't passed but remained determined. "Well...I'm not a lawyer yet," she wrote on Instagram. "Six years into this law journey, and I'm still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up."

She concluded with optimism: "Falling short isn't failure - it's fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more."

Family Dynamics and Personal Pursuits

The episode also featured other family moments, including Kris Jenner's emotional reaction during a meditation session and discussions about family burial arrangements. Meanwhile, Kardashian continues her quest to acquire a Bible her father gifted to O.J. Simpson, which sold at auction for $65,800 in March.

Despite the professional setback and personal challenges, Kardashian remains focused on her legal ambitions while balancing her responsibilities as a single mother of four and managing her business empire.
