Kate Ferdinand's Dubai Christmas Tree Reveals £6m Mansion in Al Barari
Kate Ferdinand's Dubai Christmas in £6m Al Barari mansion

Kate Ferdinand has offered fans an intimate look into her family's luxurious new life in Dubai, showcasing their impressive £6 million mansion as they decorated their Christmas tree.

A Festive Glimpse into a New Chapter

The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 34, documented the joyful, chaotic scene as she, along with her children and stepdaughter, got into the festive spirit. Dressed in matching pyjamas, Kate was joined by Rio's daughter Tia, 13, and their young children Cree, four, and Shae, two, as they skipped around delightedly adorning the tree.

The family's lavish living room provided the backdrop, featuring a huge cream sofa, plush matching carpet, and a widescreen TV. Through the window, a palm tree was visible, a reminder that they were enjoying the warm Dubai weather, where temperatures still sit at a balmy 28 degrees Celsius.

Inside the Ferdinands' Luxurious Dubai Lifestyle

Kate and Rio Ferdinand, 47, made the life-changing move to the United Arab Emirates earlier this summer. They now reside in the exclusive, gated community of Al Barari, an area renowned as the 'Green Heart of Dubai' for its lush landscapes.

Properties in Al Barari are celebrated for their spacious layouts and clean designs, which the couple have frequently showcased online. Their new home is a grand seven-bedroom mansion that will accommodate their entire family, including son Cree and daughter Shae, as well as Lorenz, Tate, 16, and Tia, 13, from Rio's previous marriage.

Sharing the moment on Instagram, Kate captioned the video: "A bit of calm, a lot of chaos, but the tree is finally up!" followed by a string of Christmas emojis.

Emotional New Beginnings in the Desert

The move marks a significant 'new chapter' for the Ferdinand family, who had previously lived in Bromley, southeast London. The relocation required a major career shift for Manchester United legend Rio, who quit his role as a pundit for TNT Sports to make the dream of living in the UAE a reality.

On Instagram, Kate had previously gushed about the fresh start, writing: "A new chapter, a fresh start - because if we don’t try, we’ll never know. Ahhh! We’ve talked about this for so long, and now it’s finally real… we’re here, we are making a new home in the place we met!"

The transition has been an emotional rollercoaster, with Kate recently opening up about the surprise visit from her stepson Tate, who flew out to Dubai to see them, only to return to the UK shortly after, leaving her on an "emotional spiral."
