Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump, has opened up about the challenges of dating while under constant Secret Service protection. In an appearance on the Impaulsive podcast hosted by Logan Paul, she described the experience as 'awkward' and 'weird'.
'It’s tough. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t tough,' she said. 'It’s weird when you’re just like hanging out with your friends, a group of girls, and you have like a tall guy standing like three feet behind you.'
On the subject of dating, she added: 'It’s really awkward when you’re going on a date with a guy and they’re two tables behind you. But I try my best not to let it bother me.'
Kai also revealed that her grandfather has no immediate plans to run for president again, but did not rule out a potential third term bid. She also spoke about her relationship with former Vice President Kamala Harris, saying there is no 'bad blood' between them and that she stays out of politics.
