The program follows Snow as he fights for a Zambian community whose homes were destroyed by mining operations, while also openly discussing his Alzheimer's diagnosis in 2023.
Who Is Jon Snow's Wife?
Jon Snow is married to Dr Precious Lunga, a Zimbabwean epidemiologist and neuroscientist. Born in Rhodesia, she studied in the UK and earned a PhD from the University of Cambridge. Today, she is the CEO and co-founder of Baobab Circle, a health technology company using AI to combat chronic diseases like diabetes in Africa.
The couple met on the Caribbean island of Mustique in 2001 and married nine years later in 2010. They have a son born via surrogacy in March 2021. Snow also has two daughters from his previous relationship with human rights lawyer Madeleine Colvin.

Jon Snow is 78, while Dr Lunga is 51, making them 27 years apart. Despite the age gap, they have built a strong partnership, with Lunga supporting Snow through his health struggles.

In Jon Snow: A Last Big Story, viewers will see Snow and his wife travel to Zambia as he rediscovers his purpose. Lunga initially hesitated to appear but changed her mind, noting that she is one of over a million people affected by dementia. She said, "It is not the end, and we are looking for opportunities to enjoy our life."
Snow has been open about his Alzheimer's diagnosis, saying, "If I don't speak out, who will?" He believes that being diagnosed does not mean one cannot still contribute to the world.
