ITV2 Confirms Love Island Replacement: Princess Andre Show

ITV2 has confirmed that a third series of The Princess Diaries, following influencer Princess Andre, will take over the 9pm slot after Love Island series 13 concludes on July 27. The announcement comes as the current season enters its final week, with the live finale set to crown the winning couple.

Love Island Series 13 Nears End

Series 13 of Love Island has aired Sunday through Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX for eight weeks. The grand finale will take place on July 27, hosted by Maya Jama, where the winning pair will receive a £50,000 prize fund. Current betting odds favor Lorenzo and Julia as frontrunners, with Jasmine and Kavan close behind. The couples must first survive 'The Grafties' twist during the July 21 episode, where public votes determine winners in categories based on compiled clips.

Previous Winners and Spin-Offs

The 2025 series was won by Cach Mercer and Toni Laites. Toni made history as the first American to win the UK version and has since appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice and co-presented Love Island: The Debrief with fellow finalists Shakira Khan and Yasmin Pettet. Cach was recently announced as a contestant on the upcoming series of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. According to Cach, 'I have grown up watching the show with my family and am so excited to now be part of the cast. Dancing is a huge passion of mine and I can't wait to learn Ballroom and do the Foxtrot for the first time!'

New Reality Show Fills the Slot

Beginning July 28, The Princess Diaries series 3 will air in the 9pm time slot. The show documents the life of Princess Andre, daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price, as she asserts her independence and advances her career goals. Princess told the Radio Times: 'Well, both our [Princess and Junior's] parents are in it, so that's really good. You're also going to see my beauty brand, you're going to actually see what they look like. We also did something together... that people would like to see.'

Love Island airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. The final of Love Island Series 13 will broadcast live on July 27.
