Gabi Grecko's New Look & Marriage Secrets to Late Geoffrey Edelsten
Gabi Grecko's new look and Edelsten marriage secrets

Gabi Grecko, the former wife of late Australian millionaire Geoffrey Edelsten, has once again transformed her appearance, showcasing a series of bold new looks on social media following her decision to shave her head.

The 35-year-old American model has used her shorn head as a blank canvas, recently sporting long platinum blonde curls in a post where she quoted lyrics from a Lil Wayne track. Her heavily tattooed chest was barely concealed, and her lips appeared more plumped than ever.

A Series of Transformations

This isn't the first dramatic change for the socialite since September. Last month, she appeared in a short clip playfully wearing an auburn wig, and in October, she posed for sultry selfies in a revealing red dress that showcased her famous pout and buxom figure.

Despite her vibrant online presence, Grecko has recently spoken about the guilt she carries regarding her late husband's final days. She told the Herald Sun from her home in New York that she misses his voice and having someone close to care about.

The Truth Behind the Glamour

While the pair were often photographed at glamorous events during their whirlwind marriage, Grecko insists their life together wasn't as extravagant as perceived. She revealed they faced significant financial problems, contradicting Edelsten's former reputation for lavish spending.

The couple first met on a dating app in 2014, with Grecko flying from New York to meet him just one week later. They married in June 2015 when she was 26 and he was 72 - a 46-year age gap. The marriage was short-lived, with an initial separation occurring just months later.

According to Grecko's affidavit while contesting his will, they reconciled in 2017 after discussions about his "abusive behaviour" towards her, before separating for the final time in 2019. For the last three years of Edelsten's life, they lived in different countries.

A Controversial Legacy

Grecko claims she was still legally married to Edelsten when he died in June 2021 at age 78, stating she was served divorce papers to email accounts she hadn't used in years.

Edelsten's final will revealed an estate valued at just over $1 million - a stark contrast to his peak wealth when he owned the Sydney Swans AFL club and travelled by helicopter. He left his son $50,000 and nothing to ex-wives Brynne Edelsten or Grecko.

Both former spouses contested the will but were unsuccessful, concluding a dramatic chapter that began with a dating app match and ended with a legal battle over a diminished fortune.
