Cream Classical 10th Anniversary: Thousands at Liverpool Pier Head

Thousands of dance music fans took over Liverpool's Pier Head on Saturday for the third of four big nights of music as Cream Classical celebrated its 10th anniversary at On The Waterfront.

Event Highlights

The event united the Kaleidoscope Orchestra and Sense of Sound singers, alongside iconic dance music voices including Alison Limerick, Robin S, Julie McKnight, Saffron (N-Joi), and Bobbi Depasois (K-Klass). Over its 10 years, Cream Classical live music events have given timeless dance tracks a new life with the support of a 50-piece orchestra, choir, and guest DJs.

Curator's Insight

K Klass's Paul Roberts, who curates Cream Classical alongside Russ Morgan, told the ECHO ahead of the event: 'I lived in the city for years and I miss the place daily now. Every time I go back I miss it. But we know the Liverpool crowd, we know what they want and we know that all the girls love a good sing-along in Liverpool as well. Especially in the first part of the set that's catered for. But Liverpool's a musical city. It's a city with music written right through it, and to get the chance to perform these tracks that people know and love in this way, it's a blessing.'
