Sarah's Guilt and a Proposal
Meanwhile, Sarah Platt feels guilty as her partner DC Kit Green becomes convinced that Gary Windass killed Theo Silverton — when in fact, Sarah is the real killer. Faced with a marriage proposal from Kit, Sarah must decide her answer. Later, Kit warns Sarah that her freedom depends on Gary's phone, urging her to delete incriminating data. Will Gary hand it over? Later in the week, police announce they are ready to arrest Theo's suspected murderer.
Tracy's New Romance
Weatherfield florist Tracy Barlow has her head turned by newcomer Ross Wilkes, the long-lost father of Tyrone Dobbs. But Cassie Plummer, Tyrone's long-lost mother, knows more about the situation and begins to meddle. Ross later tells Tracy he wants to cool things off to focus on his relationship with Tyrone. He also warns Cassie to stop interfering. After being given marching orders by Tyrone, Cassie decides to tell her partner Steve — Tracy's ex-husband — the truth.
Financial Worries for Gemma and Chesney
Elsewhere, Bernie worries when she learns that Gemma and Chesney may need a loan to send Joseph to school. Mary continues to make jibes at Christina over her fraudulent spending habits.
