Coronation Street spoilers for next week reveal that Nina Lucas, played by Mollie Gallagher, will make a huge decision that will impact her uncle Roy Cropper, portrayed by David Neilson.
Nina's Big Decision
Nina was introduced to the cobbles in 2019 as the niece of legendary character Roy Cropper. She is the daughter of Roy's half-brother, Richard Lucas, and after his death, Roy took Nina in. Since then, the duo have formed a close bond, with Nina living at the flat above the cafe and working at Roy's Rolls. However, things are set to change next week according to new spoilers.
In upcoming scenes, Dev Alahan offers Nina, Asha Alahan, and Summer Spellman money to redecorate the shop flat for him. While decorating, Asha comes up with a plan and suggests to her dad Dev that she would like to rent the flat herself. Initially, Dev is skeptical, pointing out that she cannot afford it. But when Nina offers to move in with her, will Dev agree?
Roy's Reaction
Later in the week, Dev is doubtful about the plan but is gutted to realize that Asha was serious about moving out. Meanwhile, a nervous Nina worries about how she will break the news to Roy after almost seven years living together at the cafe's upstairs flat. How will Roy react?
As the week ends, spoilers reveal that Summer and Amy Barlow help Asha and Nina unpack. As the group hangs out, Summer decides to spoil her friends, handing over a stack of housewarming gifts and revealing she is taking them all out for dinner. Summer declares that she cannot think of a better way to spend Billy Mayhew's money than on her friends, leaving the group overcome with emotion.
Nina's History on the Cobbles
Since joining the cobbles in 2019, Nina has been part of several huge storylines. In 2021, actress Mollie, 28, won Best Serial Drama Performance at the National Television Awards for the ITV soap's hard-hitting hate crime storyline involving Nina and Seb Franklin, who was tragically killed off as part of the storyline.
