The character, played by Sydney Martin, first arrived on the cobbles in 2024 alongside her mother, DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers). The storyline continued into Tuesday's episode (June 16), now streaming on ITVX, where Betsy confided in her best friend Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) about being offered a place at the London College of Fashion. However, she was hesitant about leaving Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne). Betsy later broke the news to Dylan, admitting she had not yet told her mother.
