Corey Feldman has returned to the ballroom to rehearse for Tuesday’s Dancing with the Stars finale, days after commenting on the show’s “behind-the-scenes drama.” The Goonies actor was partnered with last season’s Mirrorball champion Jenna Johnson and eliminated during week two.
Feldman took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of preparations for the eliminated couples dance, captioning it: “OOH YEA BACK N THE GAME #LOVE !!! NOT REALLY, BUT BACK 4 A HOT SEC.” He went on to gush about reuniting with former cast members and hinted he had a prediction for the winner.
The post came after Feldman spoke about “drama” on the show in a preview for an episode of the Gurvey’s Law radio show. He claimed there was “a lot of stupidity in the mudslinging” behind the scenes, describing the atmosphere as “the most toxic.”
Following his elimination, Johnson’s brother-in-law Maksim Chmerkovskiy told the Daily Mail that Johnson had struggled to work with Feldman. Feldman later confronted Johnson about the report, who advised him to ignore the comments.
However, Feldman later clarified his remarks in a statement to People magazine, insisting his experience on the show had been positive. He said the issues he referred to were about “outside commentary, rumours and individuals who are no longer directly involved with DWTS” creating “unnecessary drama.”
The Season 34 finale airs Tuesday at 8pm ET on ABC and Disney+, with episodes available to stream the next day on Hulu.
