The evening features special collaborations with some of the BBC's most popular programmes, such as Strictly Come Dancing, Gladiators, and The Apprentice.

Music is a central pillar of the event, with a performance from Lewis Capaldi, who will deliver a special track for the occasion. Furthermore, the BBC Children in Need Choir will unite to perform a unique arrangement of Coldplay's classic song, 'Yellow'.

Sara Cox's Marathon Effort and Royal Support

Ahead of the main broadcast, BBC Radio 2's Sara Cox completed her monumental Great Northern Marathon Challenge in aid of Children in Need. Her incredible effort concluded in the village of Pudsey and has already raised a staggering £7,651,855.

After crossing the finish line, an emotional Cox described it as "the hardest thing I’ve ever done." She praised the overwhelming public support, saying, "It’s just been the maddest, most painful, wonderful thing I’ve ever, ever done."

Even Prince William lent his support, sending a heartwarming video message to motivate Sara on her final day. The Prince of Wales congratulated her, urging her on and assuring her that the people of Pudsey would welcome her "with huge open arms, big hugs…and hopefully, lots of your favourite crumpets."
