Ali Larter Stuns in Red Leather at F1 Party Ahead of The Landman Season 2
Ali Larter's Red Leather Dress Steals F1 Party Spotlight

Actress Ali Larter made a spectacular appearance in Las Vegas on Friday, captivating onlookers at the PEOPLE and InStyle Drive-By F1 Party held at The Palazzo. The 49-year-old star, accompanied by her husband Hayes MacArthur, commanded attention in a striking red leather dress that perfectly highlighted her figure.

A Fashionable Evening in Las Vegas

Larter's fashion choice for the evening proved unforgettable—a plunging, figure-hugging red leather gown that showcased her timeless elegance. She elevated her statuesque frame with a pair of towering stiletto heels featuring distinctive clear, thick straps, completing the dramatic ensemble. Meanwhile, her husband Hayes MacArthur complemented her look with classic sophistication in a shiny black two-piece suit layered over a simple black shirt.

Earlier that evening, the actress had participated in amfAR's second annual Las Vegas gala at the Wynn hotel. There, she joined co-stars Michael Macaulay, Paulina Chávez, and executive David Glasser on stage to discuss their forthcoming Paramount+ series, 'The Landman'.

Addressing Character Controversy in The Landman

In the popular Paramount+ series, Larter portrays Angela Norris, described as the sex-crazed ex-wife of Billy Bob Thornton's character Tommy Norris. The show explores the high-stakes world of West Texas oil rigs and wildcat billionaires during an energy boom. Last season, the actress faced some criticism regarding the objectification of her character, created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace.

When questioned by The Hollywood Reporter in June about this feedback, Larter responded with characteristic confidence. "There's good press and bad press. That's challenging. I try to keep myself at arm's length from that and stay with the work," she explained. "I'm also like, 'Objectify me. C'mon!' Nobody's putting me in a position that I'm not comfortable being in. I have two children. I've been married for [16] years. I love playing this character."

The actress firmly stated that she wouldn't participate in any scenes that made her uncomfortable, adding: "What's more uncomfortable is that people are so uncomfortable with their sexuality."

Looking Ahead to New Seasons and Projects

Paramount+ officially renewed The Landman for a second season in March, with production scheduled to begin in April. Larter's character frequently appears in revealing scenes, including lingerie, bathing suits, and even topless sequences for intimate moments within the narrative.

During an interview with Good Morning America last year, the Legally Blonde star expressed enthusiasm about her involvement in the Texas oil boom drama. "I get to work with an incredible cast and the entire crew is so gifted and talented that I just feel like I'm playing at the top of the game, and so that's really exciting," she shared.

Beyond her professional achievements, Larter maintains a strong family life with her husband Hayes MacArthur, whom she met on the set of National Lampoon's Homo Erectus in 2007. Together they parent two children: Theodore, 14, and Vivienne, 10.
