Alan Carr's Waxwork Gets Traitors Makeover After Celebrity Victory
Alan Carr's Waxwork Gets Traitors Makeover

Comedian Alan Carr has captured the nation's affection all over again following his stunning and emotional victory in the finale of Celebrity Traitors. To mark this epic win, his waxwork at Madame Tussauds has received a dramatic, Traitors-themed transformation.

From Blackpool to the Throne: A Royal Makeover

Just one week after being crowned the first-ever champion of Celebrity Traitors, Alan Carr's likeness has been 'uncloaked' in a brand-new guise at Madame Tussauds London. The figure now sports the show's instantly recognisable dark-green hooded robe and carries a lit lantern, perfectly recreating the viral moment from the series' first episode.

The attraction was inundated with public requests to see the 'king of the Traitors' castle' immortalised in wax. Heeding the calls from fans, Madame Tussauds announced that the figure has been specially transported from its home in Blackpool. It will now hold court on a castle-inspired set near the Fashion Runway Zone for a two-week reign, from this Thursday until Friday, November 28.

Flabbergasted by Fan Demand

Steve Blackburn, General Manager of Madame Tussauds London, expressed his astonishment at the public reaction. 'We are - in the words of Kate Garraway - "flabbergasted" by the number of requests we've received calling for Alan's figure to return to the attraction floor,' he said.

'We've been faithful, listened to our visitors, and brought the figure back with an iconic new look to celebrate Alan's Celebrity Traitors win. We can't wait to welcome fans eager to see cloaked Alan in London and relive one of TV's most talked about moments of the year.'

The detailed waxwork captures Alan's mischievous spirit. Under the iconic cloak, the figure wears a pair of black trousers, a plain shirt, and a black blazer with a bright red lining.

A Record-Breaking Traitorous Triumph

Viewers watched captivated as the comedian, who was surprisingly selected as a Traitor by host Claudia Winkleman, 53, managed to deceive everyone and take home the entire £87,500 prize fund. Alan, 49, executed two murders in plain sight and successfully voted off numerous Faithfuls, and even his fellow Traitors, without raising suspicion.

His journey to victory was nail-biting, especially after the Faithfuls voted out his fellow Traitor, Cat Burns, in the tense final episode, leaving him as the last Traitor standing. The series proved to be a monumental hit for the BBC, with the debut episode drawing 14.8 million viewers and the finale averaging an impressive 11 million viewers, making it the broadcaster's biggest overnight audience, surpassing the Gavin & Stacey Christmas special.

In exciting news for fans, the BBC has officially confirmed that Celebrity Traitors will return for a second season in 2026, with Claudia Winkleman back as host.
