Catherine Zeta-Jones has made a surprise revelation about her children, Dylan and Carys, appearing on the Netflix series Wednesday. The actress, who shares the two children with husband Michael Douglas, disclosed the cameo during an interview on the Today show.
Zeta-Jones, known for her roles in Chicago and The Darling Buds of May, spoke about her children's passion for acting. Despite the pressures of fame, both Dylan, 20, and Carys, 17, are determined to pursue careers in the craft. 'Michael and I would be the first parents to say, 'You know, maybe you should think of another career,' but we've seen how passionate they are,' she said.
The actress also highlighted her children's academic pursuits, noting they are studying history and politics. 'They're both extremely bright and they get all their brains from me!' she joked. Zeta-Jones has previously shared videos of Carys singing in school concerts, showcasing their talents.
During the pandemic, the family spent quality time together at home in New York. Zeta-Jones described herself as a 'homebody' during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, appreciating the time with her children who are usually away at school.
