Yorkshire Vet Star David Melleney Marries Megan Denny in French Chateau Wedding

David Melleney, a star of Channel 5's The Yorkshire Vet, has married his long-term girlfriend Megan Denny in a picturesque ceremony at a French chateau. The couple exchanged vows at Château du Doux in the Dordogne Valley, which previously featured on Channel 4's Escape to the Chateau: DIY.

The wedding was documented in a special episode titled Wedding Bells & Cow Bells, which aired on July 9. Viewers saw the 31-year-old vet and his 28-year-old dentist bride celebrate with family and friends against the backdrop of the stunning French countryside. Megan wore a white lace Belissima dress with sheer sleeves, while David opted for a light blue checked suit with a soft pink tie.

David's colleagues from the show, Matt Jackson-Smith and Shona Searson, attended the wedding, with Matt serving as a groomsman and handing out confetti. The couple took dance lessons to prepare for their first dance to Michael Bublé's 'Everything', and the reception concluded with a firework display before they departed for a safari honeymoon in Africa.

David and Megan met after he graduated from university in 2017 and began working at Donaldson's Vets in Huddersfield, which features on the show. They already live together in Holmfirth with their dog Yogi. Reflecting on the day, David said: 'It was such an amazing day for us, I'm so happy that I could share our joy with our loyal viewers.'
