Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr have become the fourth couple to leave Strictly Come Dancing's 2026 series after losing the latest dance-off, meaning they will miss the show's upcoming Halloween special.
Dance-off defeat
During Sunday's results show, the pair lost to actress Jaime Winstone and her partner Carlos Gu. The judges were split, with Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voting to save Jaime and Carlos, while head judge Shirley Ballas voted for Shaun and Alexis. Anton Du Beke, holding this week's casting vote, opted to save Jaime and Carlos, sending Shaun and Alexis home.
Shaun, watched by his father, former Arsenal star and football pundit Ian Wright, had performed a jive to Faith by Stevie Wonder featuring Ariana Grande, which Craig Revel Horwood branded "a disaster". The couple scored 17 points.
Bottom two and scores
Jaime and Carlos had finished in the bottom two after the public vote despite scoring 25 for their foxtrot to Man I Need by Olivia Dean on Saturday's live show. Also in the bottom two was Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal, who scored 19 for their jive to a mash-up of Fatboy Slim's The Rockafeller Skank and The Knack's My Sharona.
Saturday's show also saw Delta Goodrem score the first 10 of the 2026 series on her return from injury, after a fractured rib forced her out of the previous live show. Winter Olympic champion Tabby Stoecker followed with two 10s for her couple's choice dance to Stupid Song by Olivia Rodrigo, finishing with a total score of 37, the highest of the series so far.
Next steps
The results programme also featured Spice Girls star Melanie C joining the Strictly professional dancers for a fitness-inspired group dance. The remaining couples will return to the dancefloor on Saturday, October 31, at 6.30pm on BBC One for Strictly's Halloween special.
