Wentworth: Beyond Bars, a revival of the Australian prison drama, will be broadcast on 5 later this year, with Katrina Milosevic, Nicole da Silva and Kate Box returning as Susan 'Boomer' Jenkins, Franky Doyle and Lou Kelly.
The series follows Boomer as she leaves prison on parole, determined to rebuild her life and reunite with her daughter. She moves into the Sally Lee Halfway House, where she encounters a group of volatile women. When one resident is found dead, Boomer becomes drawn into a mystery that threatens her freedom, and the person she informed on to reduce her sentence is also released and seeking revenge.
