Netflix's Wednesday has returned for its second season, and the first four episodes have unveiled the identity of the mysterious stalker plaguing Wednesday Addams. The stalker, who had been sending cryptic messages and abducting characters, is revealed to be Agnes Demille, played by Evie Templeton.
Agnes, a social outcast who admires Wednesday for saving the school from pilgrim Joseph Crackstone, uses her ability to become invisible to impress Wednesday. She kidnaps Enid Sinclair and Bruno, leaving them trapped in an abandoned tower under descending blades, before revealing herself.
Wednesday grudgingly appoints Agnes as her right-hand woman in investigating a series of murders, causing tension with Enid, who feels undervalued. Agnes deliberately winds up Enid, aware that her growing bond with Wednesday is getting under the young werewolf's skin.
For Evie Templeton, this marks her most significant role, having previously appeared in Life After Life and Criminal Record. The second part of the season is set to air on September 3.
