Warwick Davis' daughter Annabelle has shared a loved-up snap with her rarely seen boyfriend as the family support each other after wife Samantha's death. The actress, 28, first went public with her romance in 2021 but gives only small glimpses of their life together.
Annabelle and boyfriend Charlie headed to a summer event together, where they shared a cosy moment. The Dumping Ground star looked gorgeous in a pink floral dress as she gazed lovingly into Charlie's eyes. Charlie, who works as a music producer and photographer, appeared smart in a navy suit and pink tie to match Annabelle's dress.
It comes after Warwick revealed he had found love again one year after his wife's tragic death. Annabelle and Charlie bonded over their shared love of creativity and caravanning, having carried on the Davis' holiday tradition.
Warwick's wife Samantha died aged 53 last spring after complications following spinal surgery. At the BAFTAs in February, Warwick gave a cryptic shout-out to someone named 'Sponge', saying: 'Thank you for showing me that life can still have meaning and for helping me to laugh and to love again.' He later revealed Sponge is his new partner, comparing her to Daisy May Cooper's character Kerry Mucklowe.
Warwick paid tribute to Samantha during his BAFTAs speech, as his children Annabelle and Harrison sat in the front row. He became tearful as he recalled her support: 'She would always say "get out there and do it".' An inquest concluded Samantha died from a cardiac arrest following complications of essential surgery, and Warwick's legal team have launched an investigation into alleged medical negligence.
