Reality television sensation Vicky Pattison has sent Strictly Come Dancing fans into a frenzy after dropping what appears to be a massive hint about joining the 2025 lineup.
The former Geordie Shore star, who found fame on the MTV series before winning I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2015, has been heavily linked to the BBC dancing competition for years.
The Telltale Clue
During a recent Instagram Q&A, a fan asked Pattison about her availability for pantomime season later this year - traditionally a no-go for Strictly contestants due to the intense training schedule.
Pattison's response raised eyebrows as she revealed: "I'm not doing panto this year, darling. I've got something else in the pipeline that I'm not allowed to talk about yet, but I'm very excited."
Strictly's Open Invitation
This isn't the first time the 36-year-old has been connected to the glitterball trophy. She previously disclosed that Strictly producers have been pursuing her for years.
"They ask me every year," Pattison confessed during an appearance on the White Wine Question Time podcast. "I've had numerous meetings and conversations with them. It's something I would absolutely love to do."
Why Now Might Be the Perfect Time
Several factors suggest 2025 could finally be Pattison's Strictly year:
- Her recent marriage to Ercan Ramadan has brought personal stability
- She's established herself as a mainstream presenter beyond reality TV
- The timing aligns with her career evolution into more family-friendly programming
What Pattison Would Bring to the Dancefloor
Known for her vibrant personality and Newcastle roots, Pattison would likely become an instant fan favourite. Her background in entertainment and natural charisma could make her a formidable competitor in the ballroom.
While BBC officials remain tight-lipped about the 2025 lineup, Pattison's latest comments have certainly fuelled speculation that viewers might finally see her donning the sequins when Strictly returns this autumn.
