An Australian comedy drama that has been hailed as 'underrated' is now available to stream in full on ITVX. The show, titled Fisk, was recommended by multiple users on a Reddit thread asking for overlooked television series.
The programme follows Helen Tudor-Fisk, a high-end contracts lawyer forced to take a job at a shabby suburban law firm after a humiliating marriage breakdown and professional fall from grace. It is co-written and co-created by Kitty Flanagan, who also stars as the lead character.
First airing in 2021, Fisk has run for three seasons. The cast includes Julia Zemiro, Marty Sheargold, and Aaron Chen. The series holds an IMDb rating of 8 out of 10 from over 9,000 reviews, and a 96 per cent 'Popcornometer' rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Fans have praised the show as 'pure gold' and a 'hidden gem', with one viewer stating they watched all three seasons in two days. A fourth series may be in development, with Kitty Flanagan noting that it is 'just a matter of everyone finding the time'.
