Series 3 recap
Last season saw Lana and her team investigate a bomb threat that revealed itself to be the start of a vendetta. Serial killer Steven Wyles (Jason Flemyng) was targeting individuals, seeking to avenge the deaths of co-workers at a construction firm in the 1990s who developed cancer after working on a project with deadly asbestos.
Steven attempted to blow up a building with the CEO he blamed inside. His brother Isaac, a former union rep, admitted he was bought off by the firm and failed to protect the workers. Lana and the team tracked Steven to Isaac's house, where he held his brother and wife hostage. Steven forced Isaac to bring him to a former hospital site, the first building demolished in the project.
Steven's wife had also died of cancer, which he blamed on Isaac. After mind games, Isaac pressed a detonator thinking it would kill him, but Steven tricked his brother into killing him before Isaac was arrested for murder. Meanwhile, Lana began seeing a therapist for PTSD and tinnitus but remained determined to keep working.
