Rachel Duffy, a contestant on The Traitors UK 2026, has been selected by Claudia Winkleman as one of the original traitors. She is working alongside Stephen Libby as the final approaches, having seen fellow traitors Fiona Hughes and Hugo Lodge banished earlier in the game.
A strategic Head of Communications from Northern Ireland, Rachel describes herself as a competitive games lover. She told producers: 'I am a competitive person through and through. My friends and family call me Monica from Friends. I just love games.' She has chosen to tell fellow contestants she works in marketing, omitting her strategic communications role to avoid revealing her ease with public speaking.
Rachel is married with three children—two sons and a daughter. She said her husband often cannot tell when she is telling the truth: 'My husband can’t even tell if I’m telling the truth anymore. Not that I lie to him all that often, but I could wind him up and say something off the cuff, and he’s like, “I don’t even know if that’s true!”'
To prepare for the show, Rachel undertook physical and mental training, including studying micro expressions through an ex-FBI agent's online classes. She also made a pact with fellow traitor Stephen never to write his name down at the round table. If she wins the prize fund, which could reach £120,000, she plans to spend it on making memories with her children and her mother, who has dementia.
