Tom Holland's younger brother Sam made a surprise appearance on ITV's Cooking with the Stars, stepping in as a professional mentor rather than a contestant during the latest episode.
The 27-year-old chef and content creator, who has over a million followers, joined the competition, which began earlier this month, to help comedian Seann Walsh prepare his fish curry dish in an effort to avoid elimination.
Sam Holland's Kitchen Debut
Introducing himself, Sam said: 'I am a chef and a content creator with over a million followers.' He added: 'Over the years I've cooked for some high-profile celebs, such as Tom Holland and Zendaya and they do happen to be my brother and my lovely sister-in-law,' referencing the couple's secret wedding earlier this year.
Walsh joked: 'I've got Spider-Man's brother guiding me through cooking, what could possibly go wrong?' Despite the help, Walsh was eliminated from the competition on Monday, while Strictly Come Dancing alum Karen Hauer, assisted by a Michelin-starred chef, advanced to the next round.
Fan Reactions and Family Ties
Sam shared details of his appearance on Instagram, where followers expressed excitement. Luchia Murphy commented: 'WOOOO!!! Redownloading ITV to stream this halfway across the world.' Sara Snadden wrote: 'We know who we will be watching tonight,' and Ellie Evelyn added: 'Yess can't wait to watch!!'
Sam is one of four Holland brothers, including his twin Harry and youngest brother Paddy. He has previously showcased his cooking on This Morning and made his big-screen debut alongside Tom in The Impossible, which depicted the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami in Thailand.
Tom Holland's Praise
The Spider-Man star recently praised Sam's cooking ability on the Dish podcast, noting his brother's skill in developing vegetarian recipes for home cooking with Zendaya, who does not eat meat. Tom said: 'He's a good cook, Sam, but he's very strict as well. I think it was my mum and dad's wedding anniversary; he cooked this amazing dinner.'
He added: 'And then he had us come in and help serve and he was quite rude. It was like being in a real kitchen. We had stations, I was doing this and his fiancée was doing that and it was very regimented.' Tom later clarified: 'He wasn't rude; he just was passionate. He was focused.'
