Sky has given a full series order to 'This Town', a new spy thriller starring Tom Hollander and Niamh Algar. The show, originally titled 'The Iris Affair', follows Iris Nixon (Algar), a puzzle-solving genius invited by entrepreneur Cameron Beck (Hollander) to solve a mysterious piece of technology with terrifying powers. When she discovers its activation sequence, she goes on the run, triggering an action-packed chase across Italy.
The series is described as a cat-and-mouse thriller with a propulsive opening. It joins Sky's lineup alongside other new and returning shows, including the documentary 'The 39 Steps' and the comedy panel show 'Taskmaster'.
No premiere date has been announced yet, but production is expected to begin later this year.
