The third series of Channel 5's anthology drama The Teacher has arrived, with all four episodes airing back-to-back throughout the week. The series launched on Monday, 30 March, and stars Victoria Hamilton as the lead, following Sheridan Smith and Kara Tointon in previous seasons.
Victoria Hamilton, known for roles in Unforgotten, Doctor Foster and The Crown, plays Helen Simpson, a teacher with 30 years' experience who clashes with a student named Cressida Bancroft over 'woke' ideologies. The synopsis reveals that Cressida sets out to turn the world against Helen, eventually targeting her family.
The four-episode season airs on Channel 5, with all episodes available to stream on My5. Although set in Sheffield and the Peak District, filming primarily took place in Spain, with some scenes shot in Hertfordshire.
