The season three finale of The Summer I Turned Pretty sees Conrad (Chris Briney) surprising Belly (Lola Tung) outside her Paris apartment. Despite initial awkwardness, Belly agrees to spend the day with him before his train to Brussels. She plays tour guide, taking him to Versailles and eventually a rooftop where they begin to open up about their year apart.
Belly explains she has found herself in Paris, and Conrad is supportive. She invites him to her birthday dinner, where he meets her French friends and her boyfriend Benito (Fernando Cattori). During dinner, it is revealed that Belly has broken up with Benito, setting the stage for a reconciliation with Conrad.
The tension builds as Belly and Conrad flirt, and her friends gift them a joint. Conrad gives Belly a vial of sand from Cousins Beach, a 'little piece' of home. Later, as they walk the streets of Paris, Conrad admits he thought she was running away, but is glad she has found herself. Belly confesses she sees herself as the villain in their love triangle, but Conrad reassures her.
The finale ends with Belly and Conrad sharing a kiss, suggesting a reunion. The episode also features Belly's family toasting her from Cousins, and Belly now going by 'Isabel' in Paris, though she insists Conrad call her Belly.
