Graham Norton's new ITV series The Neighbourhood made its debut last week, captivating audiences with its unique format. The reality entertainment show sees families and households compete in a street-sized popularity contest, battling it out for a life-changing £250,000 cash prize. Hosted by the 63-year-old presenter, the series is set to air for 11 episodes in total.
When did The Neighbourhood first air?
The first episode debuted on Friday night, sandwiched between the explosive live final of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, where Adam Thomas was crowned the winner. Subsequent episodes aired on Saturday and Sunday nights, leaving viewers eager for more.
Why isn't The Neighbourhood on tonight?
Despite airing three consecutive nights, The Neighbourhood will not be broadcast on Monday, 27 April. Fans will have to wait a few days for the next episode.
When is The Neighbourhood back on ITV?
The show will return on Thursday, 30 April at 9pm, followed by another episode on Friday, 1 May at 9pm. However, there will be no episodes over the weekend of Saturday, 2 May and Sunday, 3 May.
What did Graham Norton say about the series?
Ahead of the premiere, Graham shared his thoughts on the show: "One of the loveliest things about the show is seeing households who would never meet in real life, not only meeting but forming proper bonds of friendship. There are a few moments in the show that really do bring a tear to my eye because it's just so genuine, so lovely and properly heartwarming."
He added: "It's such an odd word to describe a show like this but it's properly wholesome - there's something about the bright colours, being out in the countryside, and the genuine bonds that you see created."
Graham also praised the format: "What I loved about The Neighbourhood is it properly is a new format. It's not something meets something else, it's not - it's like this, but that. I really thought I hadn't seen this show before. It leans into our curiosity about what's behind closed doors and there's something really compelling and addictive about seeing the way the existing households interact with each other."
The Neighbourhood continues on Thursday, 30 April at 9pm on ITV.
