The Madison, Taylor Sheridan's new Western drama starring Michelle Pfeiffer, has become a streaming hit after its first three episodes aired on Paramount+ on 14 March. The six-part series follows Stacy Clyburn, a wealthy New York matriarch who moves to Montana after a tragedy.
Filming took place in Montana's Madison River Valley, Yellowstone National Park, Ennis, and Gallatin National Forest. Principal photography began in August 2024, and a second season was shot in September 2025.
However, New York City scenes were filmed in Texas. Dallas's skyline stood in for Manhattan, while Fort Worth's Sundance Square and Stockyards were filled with yellow taxis and NYPD vehicles. Specific locations included Dallas's Deep Ellum and Fort Worth's Sundance Square and Stockyards.
Production was kept secret, and season two locations remain unknown. Fans await news of the Clyburns' next moves.
