The Ex-Wife, a four-part British thriller adapted from Jess Ryder's bestselling novel, begins on Channel 5 on Sunday, October 15 at 9pm. Each episode airs weekly at the same time during Autumn 2023. The series was previously released on Paramount Plus on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

The drama follows Tasha (Céline Buckens), who appears to have a perfect life with her husband Jack (Tom Mison) and their daughter Emily. However, Jack's ex-wife Jen (Janet Montgomery) remains a constant presence, calling nightly and attending family events. When Tasha returns home to find Jack and Emily missing, she must reluctantly turn to Jen for help.

The cast includes Céline Buckens (Showtrial, Bridgerton), Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow, Watchmen), Janet Montgomery (Entourage, New Amsterdam), and Jordan Stephens (Rizzle Kicks, Rogue One) as Tasha's friend Sam. The adaptation was written by Downton Abbey star and bestselling thriller author Catherine Steadman.
