Channel 5 is set to air the second series of the popular psychological thriller The Ex-Wife. The drama, which first captivated audiences in 2022, returns with new twists and turns.
Cast of The Ex-Wife Series 2
Celine Buckens reprises her role as Tasha, and Tom Misen returns as Jack. However, there is a significant change: Janet Montgomery is replaced by Katie McGrath, known for Supergirl and Merlin, who now plays Jen. Jordan Stephens from Rizzle Kicks also joins the cast as Tasha's friend Sam.
Plot of The Ex-Wife Series 2
Set three years after the events of the first season, Tasha is living in hiding in Cyprus with her daughter Emily (Liberty Miller). Jen has moved on and is preparing to remarry. When Jack is released from prison early, having served only a year of his sentence, Tasha and Emily's safety is threatened. Jack appears to have changed, but can he be trusted? The synopsis teases: "With the shadow of the past haunting all three characters, attempts at moving on only bring them closer together, but who can each of them really trust, and can anyone truly change?"
