The Ex-Wife Returns for Second Series on Channel 5

Channel 5's psychological thriller The Ex-Wife is back for a second series, airing from Friday, May 15 at 9pm. The show, which originally aired in 2022, follows Tasha (Celine Buckens) as her marriage to Jack (Tom Misen) is disrupted by his persistent ex-wife, Jen.

Series two picks up three years after the events of the first season. Tasha is living in hiding in Cyprus with her daughter Emily (Liberty Miller), while Jen has moved on and is preparing to remarry. However, Jack is released from prison early after serving only a year of his sentence, raising questions about whether he has truly changed.

A notable change in the new series is the recasting of Jen. Janet Montgomery, who played the role in the first series, has been replaced by Katie McGrath, known for her roles in Supergirl and Merlin. Jordan Stephens from Rizzle Kicks also joins the cast as Tasha's friend Sam.
