The Durrells to Leave Netflix in February

Netflix has announced that the beloved ITV period drama 'The Durrells' will be removed from its platform next month. The show, which originally aired from 2016 to 2019, follows a single mother and her four children as they start a new life on the Greek island of Corfu after the death of her husband.

Starring Keeley Hawes and Josh O'Connor in his first lead TV role, the series has been placed in the 'leaving soon' section on Netflix. According to reports, the first three series were added on February 7, 2024, with the final series arriving a week later. Fans will have until February 13 to stream all four series before they are removed.

The show is not available on ITVX, Netflix's sister platform, but can be streamed on Disney+ in the UK, where it was added in June 2024. Despite its relatively short run, 'The Durrells' has received widespread acclaim, with a 94% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and perfect scores for its second and third series.
