Prime Video has released a major update for the upcoming spin-off series Vought Rising, leaving The Boys fans divided. The prequel, set in the 1950s, will explore the twisted origins of Vought International.
First Trailer Released
On May 21, viewers were treated to a first glimpse trailer, offering insight into what they can expect. The short teaser shows Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy suiting up for the first time, alongside Aya Cash as Stormfront. Prime Video teases that it "offers a diabolical first look at the world and story that will define this next evolution of the franchise."
Fan Reactions
While many fans are excited, others are still reeling from the fifth and final season of The Boys, which ended earlier this week. Commenting on the YouTube trailer, one person wrote: "Damn. They didn't even wait a few days. lol." Another said: "They certainly didn't wait with this." A third added: "Quit whinning about the finale and strap up boys! We are going back in time."
