Tanya Reynolds, known for her roles in Sex Education and the BBC's The Other Bennet Sister, has secured two major upcoming projects. The 34-year-old actress will make her directorial debut with the dark comedy Dog Person, in which she also stars as Sally, a dental receptionist overwhelmed by life's pressures who develops a dark fantasy.
Reynolds will be joined by Happy Valley and Grantchester star James Norton, as well as Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville. The film marks a significant career move for Reynolds, who played Caroline Bingley in the BBC's Pride and Prejudice spin-off.
In addition to Dog Person, Reynolds has been cast in the fourth season of the Apple TV comedy-drama Ted Lasso. She will portray a new assistant coach for a women's football team, though further details about her character remain under wraps. The new season is set to premiere on August 5, 2025, on Apple TV+.
The Other Bennet Sister is currently available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
