Fears that Johannes Radebe may quit Strictly Come Dancing have intensified after a fellow professional dancer's comment. The 38-year-old professional has been on 'quit-watch' since his elimination from the 2025 series alongside TV star Alex Kingston, 62, at the end of November.
Following the grand finale, Johannes shared a reflective Instagram photo of himself gazing across the Strictly stage. Fellow dancer Lauren Oakley, 34, commented 'Boo' with a red heart emoji, which some fans interpret as a sign of disappointment over his potential departure.
One follower pleaded: 'Please don't leave Jojo. Next year is your win, I just know it.' Another wrote: 'There has been rumours you are leaving I hope it's not true.' The BBC has declined to confirm or deny whether Johannes will return for the 2026 season.
Johannes made Strictly history in 2021 as part of the show's first same-sex male pairing with Bake Off star John Whaite, finishing as runners-up. His exit speech after elimination in November also sparked concern, with him saying: 'Bye to my Strictly family, I love you. I'm forever grateful.'
