Strictly Come Dancing: Former Stars Return for Blackpool Special

Strictly Come Dancing has announced that former contestants Ashley Roberts, Danny Mac, Jay McGuiness and Layton Williams will return for a special routine during the upcoming Blackpool episodes. The performances will air on November 22nd and 23rd, marking a show first as past stars join the professional dancers on the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom floor.

The routine will incorporate highlights from the contestants' most famous dances, including Jay and Ashley's Jives, Danny's Samba, and Layton's Quickstep. Jay McGuiness, who won the series in 2015, will be joined by finalists Danny Mac (2016), Ashley Roberts (2018) and Layton Williams (2023). The choreography is by Jason Gilkinson and will be featured on the Sunday results show.

Ashley Roberts expressed her excitement, saying: 'I'm so excited and grateful to be back on the shiny floor in Blackpool again. Nearly a decade later, let's see if these jive legs can still do their thing!' Danny Mac added: 'Dancing in Blackpool was an absolute highlight... to be heading back up to The Tower Ballroom once again is as thrilling as it is terrifying.'
