The sixth Strictly Come Dancing elimination of the series has been leaked online, prompting a wave of frustrated reactions from viewers. Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to discuss the latest casualty after the result was shared ahead of the broadcast.
One viewer claimed they "saw the result coming," while another remarked "we've seen it time and time again." Others expressed sympathy for the axed contestant, with one fan tweeting: "My heart breaks for the couple that have left I really liked them." Another commented: "I liked them both so this is a shame."
Triple dance-off twist
The leak comes a week after Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal were eliminated during Halloween week. In a show twist, three couples faced the dance-off but only one couple was sent home. The Emmerdale star ended up in the show's first triple dance-off.
The judges were tasked with voting to eliminate one couple from the competition rather than choosing which couple to save, and ultimately the soap star was let go.
Result pre-recorded
The result is broadcast on Sunday nights but is pre-recorded the day before, following the live episode. A source from the Strictly audience has now reportedly confirmed the spoiler on social media, but Express.co.uk has chosen not to name them.
Some viewers said the outcome was expected while showing concern for the other celebrity in the dance-off. One fan tweeted: "I predicted this as soon as Shirley was announced as the judge with the casting vote." Another shared: "Thanks for an unsurprising outcome," while a further comment added: "Thank you, right choice."
Jaime Winstone pulls out
Meanwhile, Jaime Winstone was forced to pull out of Saturday's show after tearing an abdominal muscle and has been told to rest by doctors. A Strictly spokesperson said that Jaime and her professional partner Carlos Gu will automatically go through this week. Jaime said she was "devastated" but said she had to put herself first.
Strictly Come Dancing's results show airs tonight on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 7.15pm.
