Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left frustrated after spoilers leaked online revealing who is set to leave the show this week. Saturday's live show marked the halfway point of the competition, with emotional moments including Graeme Hall's heartfelt Couple's Choice and Jaime Winstone's absence due to injury.
Leaderboard and Dance-Off
After all the couples performed for judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke, Dani Dyer and Nikita Kuzmin topped the leaderboard with their American Smooth, earning their first 10 of the competition and a total of 36 points. John Nellis and Cach Mercer came joint last with 26 points each.
Following Saturday's episode, spoilers about the dance-off and results, which are pre-recorded ahead of airing on Sunday night, were leaked online. While the Daily Star has chosen not to reveal the results, many fans have been left frustrated by the exit.
Fan Reactions
Taking to X, one fan said: "We have seen it time and again where terrible dancers have been kept in because they are fans' favourites and good dancers sent home. And yes, Shirley certainly has her favourites and giving her that casting vote will secure them staying in."
Another admitted: "Considering the person that went scored higher than the person saved, I'm shocked." One fan said they were "gutted", adding how they hoped it gave the other contestant a "kick up the b***."
"Sorry how is this fair?... Craig and Motsi the only ones with sense," another fan added, while another posted an image of a shocked face while sharing: "I just saw the Strictly spoiler and what???" Over on Instagram, one fan said: "Wrong decision booooooooo", while another shared they were "so sad". A final fan said on X: "So #annoyed by the Strictly spoiler."
Judges' Scoring Criticism
Viewers were quick to complain about the judges' scoring on Saturday night, with many feeling it was all over the place with very little consistency. Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby were given four points by Craig, as Motsi and Anton awarded eight points each and Shirley awarded them six, giving them a score of 26 and landing them joint last on the leaderboard for week seven.
Confused by the stark difference in scores, one fan said on X: "A 4 and an 8!? The judges' scoring is absolutely atrocious tonight." Another added: "WHAT IS WITH THESE SCORES?!?! A 4 and an 8 for the same dance?? #Strictly."
Results Show and Jaime Winstone
As for tonight's results show, hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe will present as the two lowest-scoring couples go head to head in the dance-off. Plus, the professionals show the celebrities how it's done with a moving and inspirational group routine.
Fans are hoping actress Jaime Winstone returns to the show next week, after she was forced to miss this week's live show due to an injury. Her partner Carlos Gu took to Instagram to say: "Miss my girl today", but there has been no update yet about her recovery. She received a bye through to next week, as is the case with any contestant injured on the show.
Judge Motsi Mabuse had commented: "Sending you so much love, darling. Your health always comes first. Take the time you need to rest, recover and get your strength back. We'll miss you this week, but what matters most is that you feel better. Wishing you a speedy recovery and sending you the biggest hug!"
