Strictly 2025: Fans Spot Judges' Desk Change Ahead of New Series

Strictly Come Dancing fans believe they have spotted a change to the judges' setup ahead of the 2025 series. A video shared by former rugby captain Chris Robshaw from inside Elstree Studios showed the judges' desk, leading viewers to note that the panel appears to be seated at a single desk rather than the individual podiums used since the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 2025 series will see Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman return as hosts, with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke reprising their roles on the judging panel. The professional dancer lineup includes returning favourites such as Amy Dowden, Dianne Buswell, and Vito Coppola, alongside two new additions: Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon.

The celebrity lineup has been finalised after Kristian Nairn withdrew due to medical issues, replaced by Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope. The pre-recorded launch show is expected to air on 20 September, with filming now underway. Chris Robshaw, one of the celebrity contestants, shared his nerves on social media, saying he is 'absolutely terrified' but excited to take part.
