Strictly Come Dancing is set to return on Saturday 20 September at 6.40pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with the full judging panel and hosts confirmed for the new series. Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke will resume their roles as judges, while Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman return as hosts.
The 2025 celebrity lineup includes Alex Kingston, Balvinder Sopal, Chris Robshaw, Dani Dyer, Ellie Goldstein, George Clarke, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey (Nitro), Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Karen Carney, La Voix, Lewis Cope, Ross King, Stefan Dennis, Thomas Skinner and Vicky Pattison. They will be paired with professional dancers including new additions Alexis Warr and Julian Caillon.
Head judge Shirley Ballas expressed her excitement for the upcoming series, calling it 'a true honour' to return. She hinted at 'exciting changes and new twists and turns' in the ballroom, promising an 'iconic series'. Ballas also recalled standout moments from previous years, such as Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell's Waltz to 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.
Craig Revel Horwood, marking his 21st year on the show, said each series brings 'a completely new cast' and 'a whole new energy'. He noted that audiences love the colour, movement and songs, and that Strictly remains a family show that brings generations together.
